Facebook has been killed by one of the worst data leak scandals, though the social media platform says there is no technological violation. The data analytics firm Cambridge Analycia allegedly abused the Facebook website to get personal Facebook details of nearly 50 million FB users from academic researcher Alexander Kogan with its affiliated research firm Strategic Communication Laboratories.

This description was used to create an algorithm which helped Trump win the election.
